Normal skin

You are one of the lucky ones if you have this type of skin. It is characterized by having few or no imperfections. This type of skin is resistant and has little or no severe sensitivity to climatic changes of skincare products. Normal skin has scarcely visible pores and the skin complexion is usually radiant at all times. Because the skin is resilient, you get to explore with as many skincare products as possible. However, it is advisable to stick to organic products because they are usually safe and healthy on the skin. 

Combination skin

Most people have this type of skin and it can be characterized as having different counter reactions especially in the T zone area that includes the nose, forehead, and chin area. People with this type of skin can experience oily skin in one part of the skin while at the same time experience a dry or normal skin reaction in other areas. This is because the pores are usually preponderant and they are more open compared to the normal skin type. The skin can also have blackheads and the skin can be shiny sometimes. The best way to care for this type of skin is to avoid alcohol-based cosmetic products. It is recommended you use balancing creams and toners to even the skin tone. 

Dry skin

This type of skin is usually dull and rough in terms of complexity. This is because it has very few pores that supply the skin with water. Sometimes there can be red patches that appear or visible wrinkly lines because the skin is less elastic. The best way to deal with this type of skin is to use a rich moisturizer. They are easily found in any cosmetic store and they are not that expensive. Rich moisturizer will help the skin be more hydrated and keep it looking healthy. 

Acne-Prone Skin

If you have this type of skin you are probably prone to skin outbursts. This is because the pores on the skin are easily clogged and this results in frequent pustules, blackheads, and whiteheads. Acne-prone skin can be a real nightmare and the good news is that it can be managed and treated with ease. The logical treatment is to look for cleansers that are formulated to deal with acne-prone skinYou can also exfoliate regularly and use moisturizers to keep the skin hydrated. If there is scarring you can try tropical gels to even out the skin tone.
