Remedies for dry skin

If you are tired of trying numerous moisturizing or regenerating creams and your skin is still dry and looking dull, don’t miss the following natural and home remedies to hydrate the skin and help to eliminate dryness-related problems.

White clay

White clay has soothing, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic properties for the skin; therefore, it helps to soothe irritation and get rid of bacteria that can contribute to the appearance of acne or blackheads.

With the white powdered clay, you can create masks that regenerate the skin and leave it soft and hydrated. To do this you have to mix white clay powder with water and apply the preparation on the skin, removing it after about 20 minutes.

The rosehip

Rosehip oil is commonly used to help tissue healing, both in cases of scars from operations or wounds, as well as to combat stretch marks or skin marks caused by acne. It is common to mix a few drops of rosehip in your usual moisturizer. In this way, you can benefit from all these properties without any effort.

Beeswax and Olive Oil Moisturizer

Beeswax is a natural compound that is commonly used in natural cosmetics since in addition to having nourishing and regenerative properties, it provides texture and consistency to creams without the need to add any type of artificial chemical substance.

How to prepare beeswax moisturizer

For the homemade preparation of this cream, you will need 5 tablespoons of beeswax and 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.

First, the beeswax should be heated in a bain-marie until it melts; then add the olive oil and mix. Remove it from the heat and in a matter of minutes, it will solidify. Now you can apply it as a night moisturizer.

Drink water and stay hydrated

Lastly, and as the most important point, we must not forget the importance of hydrating ourselves from the inside to be healthy and show off beautiful skin. It is recommended to drink at least one and a half liters of water a day, both to ensure the basic functions of the body and to maintain hydrated skin.

The use of thousands of cosmetic creams is useless if the root of the problem is not attacked: the dehydration of the organism.
